Kaligraphy Brush

This custom typeface was heavily inspired by kanji brushwork.

To create it, I bought myself a calligraphy brush set, and inked out the letters. After getting the results I wanted, I brought into Illustrator, occasionally modifying stroke widths and helping to add extra details. It is the details, like noticeable brushstrokes, and other imperfections that help give this font it's handcrafted appearance.
